I really hadn’t ever got the chance to do an Egyptian themed tattoo. I had a intense “Egypt Phase” back in 1984 when Iron Maiden came out with Powerslave, but since then I haven’t given Egypt much thought. As it turned out I had a lot of fun with, not only these tattoos, but also the guy getting them. It really makes the experience so much better when the customer is cool. So everybody, be more like Ben. I also did a dragon with a Pog Jammer in his talon, but that was much too cool to post here. It would make your mind explode. Maybe another time. Thanks Ben

ELECTRIC EEL TATTOO / FINALLY FINISHING JESSE’S NECK

Recently got to do a fun tattoo on an old friend that I used to work with in Florida. When we were down there we had an intense session or two working on Jesse’s neck and I’m sure, for him, this one was too. The big difference is this time we finished everything. I’m happy with how everything came out. Hope you enjoy it too.

VELOCIRAPTOR TATTOO / WINTER TATTOOLAPALOOZA

Just got back from another trip down in beautiful Miami Florida for the 1st Winter Tattoolapalooza. It was a great time and I got to see some old friends and make some new ones. Most importantly I got to start a few bigger pieces. I did get to finish a fun Velociraptor tattoo that I’m hoping we can add on to down the line when I’m back in Miami. I have two more trips down there this year. I hope I have as much fun at them as I did at this one. Thanks to Mickey, Frank, & Christa for always making Tattoolapalooza such a great time.

CARDINAL & CLOCK TOWER TATTOO

I’ve only been in Richmond for a year and a half now, but I definitely love this city. That’s why I was really excited to be asked to bring Scott’s idea to life. He wanted a tattoo of a famous landmark in Richmond, the Main Street Station clock tower. We also added a couple cardinals because it’s Virginia’s State Bird. I thought that added a great touch.
